WBJEE 2026: Registration, Admit Card, Exam Pattern & Preparation Tips

West Bengal Joint Entrance Examinations Board conducts the WBJEE 2026 exam as a state level entrance test for admission to engineering, pharmacy and architectural colleges in West Bengal. Thousands of students appear for the exam each year in order to gain admission to the top government and private engineering colleges in the state. The examination is offline and is one of the most crucial entrance exam for students who wish to opt for technical courses in West Bengal. 

WBJEE 2020 registration is done online on the official examination portal. Eligible candidates who are interested in taking the Entrance Test should fill up the application form within the deadline fixed by the authorities. Applicants must need to register and provide academic information, upload documents and pay the application fee successfully. Based on the new WBJEE Exam Pattern, the exam is split into two separate papers. Paper 1 will contain Mathematics and Paper 2 Physics and Chemistry. Organic Chemistry, Chemical Bonding, Coordination Compounds and Electrochemistry should be the areas of Chemistry to be prepared. Algebra, Calculus, Trigonometry, Coordinate Geometry and Probability are included in Mathematics. Candidates should develop and consolidate the concepts to ensure that they are familiar with the concepts as well as possess analytical and problem solving skills. 

All candidates intending to apply for admission to engineering courses need to meet the WBJEE eligibility criteria set by the examination conducting body. Students must have passed or appeared in class 12th from any recognized board with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics as their subjects.
